Hi, I'm Justin.

I started JMG Media in 2016, shooting property on weekends while I finished an IT degree and worked a helpdesk job through the week. The photography was meant to be the side project. By 2021 it had become the whole thing, and I have been at it full time since.

The first listing I ever shot was in October 2016, for an agency I still work with today. They are still my biggest client, and that relationship turns ten years old this October. Agents in this industry change photographers often, so of everything here, that is the number I am most proud of.

That degree was in programming and interactive media design, and it shows in how the business runs rather than in how the pictures look. Everything that is not the photograph is on rails: the kit, the workflow, the naming, the delivery. The booking system and the client portal are just the newest version of that, both built from scratch rather than bought off a shelf.

The shoots themselves are collaborative. If you are on site I will show you what I am seeing and ask how you want the property presented, because you know what the listing has to do. Some of the best frames on this site came out of that conversation.

There is a small team behind the scenes now, so work comes back quickly and nothing waits on one person being awake. The relationship, though, is still with me.
